Lizzy practices criminal defense because she values meeting clients, hearing their stories, and understanding the complexities of their lives. She takes time to address not only legal issues but also underlying challenges, connecting clients to community resources such as therapy, shelters, and treatment programs when appropriate.

Her journey to law has been marked by perseverance and dedication. A first-generation college graduate from rural western Pennsylvania, Lizzy earned her B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy before obtaining her J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she participated in the Community Justice Project Clinic and Misdemeanor Defense Externship. Her professional work reflects a strong commitment to protecting clients’ futures and ensuring they have informed, effective legal representation.

Outside the office, Lizzy and her husband Brett enjoy life with their rescued basset hound, Red, who they lovingly spoil.
